About the Role

As Community Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our practitioner community—nurturing connections, facilitating meaningful engagement, and ensuring every member feels supported, informed, and inspired to grow their practice.
What You’ll Do
Community Engagement
- Foster a welcoming, supportive environment where practitioners feel comfortable sharing challenges and celebrating wins
- Facilitate discussions, answer questions, and encourage peer-to-peer support
- Moderate community forums and groups, maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere
- Identify and surface valuable conversations, insights, and member success stories
Member Support & Onboarding
- Welcome new members and guide them through the community resources
- Provide exceptional support to practitioners navigating their journey
- Connect members with relevant resources, courses, events, and coaching opportunities
- Act as a bridge between the community and the Wellsum team, sharing feedback and insights
Content & Programming
- Curate and share valuable content that helps practitioners grow their skills and business
- Coordinate community events, webinars, and networking opportunities
- Recognise and celebrate member achievements and milestones
- Gather testimonials and success stories that inspire others
Relationship Building
- Build genuine relationships with community members
- Identify practitioners who could benefit from additional support or resources
- Collaborate with coaches, course creators, and event organisers to meet community needs
- Maintain regular communication rhythms that keep the community engaged
Who You Are
Essential Qualifications
- Practitioner experience or formal training in health and wellness (nutrition, functional medicine, or related field)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Genuine passion for helping practitioners succeed and grow
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport
- Dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service in every interaction
- Experience using Wellsum clinic software is highly desirable
Ideal Qualities
- Empathetic listener who understands the challenges practitioners face
- Proactive and self-motivated with excellent organisational skills
- Community-minded with a knack for bringing people together
- Comfortable with digital tools and online community platforms
- Experience with community management, customer success, or similar roles
