About the Role

Lead marketing for a mission-driven platform that’s changing how nutrition and functional medicine practitioners build successful practices. We’re looking for a Marketing Manager with deep connections in the health and wellness industry who can authentically communicate our value to practitioners and position Wellsum as the platform of choice for ambitious, growth-minded professionals.

What You’ll Do

Strategy & Campaign Development

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that resonate with nutrition and functional medicine practitioners
  • Craft campaigns that highlight Wellsum’s unique value—”Your Brand, Your Way”—and our Manage, Engage, Grow approach
  • Create compelling messaging that speaks to practitioner pain points: finding clients, building relationships, growing sustainably
  • Position Wellsum as more than software—a complete ecosystem for practice success

Brand Awareness & Community Growth

  • Drive brand awareness across the health and wellness community
  • Build strategic partnerships with industry organisations, training providers, and wellness brands
  • Develop relationships with influential practitioners, educators, and industry leaders
  • Represent Wellsum at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities

Content Strategy & Digital Presence

  • Collaborate on content strategy that educates, inspires, and converts practitioners
  • Oversee social media strategy and community engagement
  • Manage email marketing campaigns that nurture leads and support existing users
  • Create case studies, testimonials, and success stories that demonstrate real impact

Partnerships & Collaboration

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that expand Wellsum’s reach
  • Build relationships with complementary platforms, training bodies, and industry associations
  • Develop co-marketing opportunities with aligned brands and organisations
  • Leverage your industry network to open doors and create opportunities

Performance & Growth

  • Track marketing performance and optimize campaigns based on data
  • Manage marketing budget and allocate resources effectively
  • Identify new channels and opportunities for practitioner acquisition
  • Report on key metrics: brand awareness, lead generation, conversion, retention

Who You Are

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven marketing experience in health, wellness, or B2B service sectors (3-5+ years)
  • Strong existing network within the nutrition and functional medicine community
  • Demonstrated success in building brand awareness and driving growth
  • Experience with digital marketing: social media, email campaigns, content marketing, SEO
  • Natural networker who builds authentic relationships easily

  • Deep understanding of the health and wellness industry landscape

  • Strategic thinker who can also execute tactically
  • Creative storyteller who understands what resonates with health professionals

  • Experience with B2B SaaS or subscription-based business models (helpful but not required)
